New Program Makes Ownership of a Luxury 74’ Motor Yacht A Breeze

 (Wednesday May 9, 2007 ) – The Moorings, a leading yacht charter company, is now giving customers the opportunity to purchase a fully crewed luxury motor yacht for a only $430,000, instead of the normal $4.3 million price tag.  The new fractional ownership program gives owners the pleasure and privilege of owning their dream yacht, but without the traditional expense and responsibilities.

The program works by dividing the yacht into 10 units of 10% and offering owners the opportunity to purchase one or multiple units in the program. Each unit gives the owner four weeks of cruising time aboard the yacht every year, complete with a qualified crew that includes a professional captain and gourmet chef, hand picked by The Moorings.

The unique aspect of the program is that, backed with 38 years of chartering and yacht management experience, The Moorings can charter the owner’s time on their behalf if the owner is not using it, earning the owner attractive revenues.
