North American Airlines To Inaugurate Nonstop Scheduled Service Between New York and Lagos, Nigeria in July

JAMAICA, New York, June 13 /PRNewswire/ --

North American Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings, Inc. (OTC: WLDA.PK), will launch scheduled service between Lagos, Nigeria and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on July 17, 2006. North American, which is the only U.S. airline operating nonstop scheduled service between Africa and the United States, will offer three weekly round-trip flights with its Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

"Lagos will be the third African city served by North American, in addition to Accra, Ghana and Banjul, The Gambia," said Rob Binns, chief marketing officer. "Our Lagos customers will appreciate our new Business Class service with all-leather seating, 55-inch seat pitch, 135-degree recline and in-flight entertainment, including nine audio and six video channels to choose from."

The North American flights will offer 30 Business Class seats and 176 coach seats, departing JFK on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and departing Lagos on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The flight schedule effective July 17 will be: JFK to Lagos - Depart JFK - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday - Arrive Lagos - 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Friday, Monday Lagos to JFK - Depart Lagos - 11:55 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Arrive JFK - 6:25 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Reservations can be made through travel agents or by contacting North American Airlines at +1-800-FLY-NAA2, or online at www.flynaa.com. Tickets also may be purchased at North American's Lagos city ticket office, The Silverbird Galleria, 133 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, or at the Murtala Muhammed Airport ticket office.

"As the leading energy producer in Africa, Nigeria is an increasingly important trading partner of the United States, with U.S. companies now investing nearly US$7 billion into its economy," said Binns. "Nigeria is also the largest international market currently not served with nonstop service from the United States. As the only U.S. airline to provide nonstop scheduled service to Africa, Lagos is a logical addition to the North American Airlines system."

North American has a 15-year record of financially successful operations offering both scheduled and charter service. North American also operates scheduled flights serving Georgetown, Guyana and Accra, Ghana from JFK, and Banjul, The Gambia and Accra from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. North American is a U.S.-certificated air carrier offering air transportation services throughout the world for the U.S. military and commercial customers. Founded in 1989, North American operates a fleet of nine passenger aircraft in charter and scheduled service. For information, visit www.flynaa.com.
