"Our one-design was designed to be stirred single-handed in race on the most hostiles oceans of the planet. We have already tested it on more than 20,000 nautical miles but wish to validate the recent evolutions (the boom and new accommodations). Those tests have to be done in a strong breeze to validate the least of modification before approving it for the series", explained Jean-Baptiste Daramy, manager of the series production of the Veolia Oceans one-design series for the SolOceans at SailingOne (Eurosport Group).

Bostik, currently moored at La Trinité-sur-Mer (Brittany - France) next to the IMOCA 60 Safran, is thus waiting for the gale force 7 to 8 (35 to 45 knots) which should sweep across Brittany at 0000 UTC on Friday 5 September i.e. mid-day this Friday. A navigation is scheduled in this strong swell off the south-western part of Belle-Ile this Friday morning 5 September. Charles Caudrelier will be at the helm, with a crew composed by Yann Clavier (Boat captain), Jean-Baptiste Daramy and a famous journalist and offshore sailor Patrice Carpentier.
