Bostik Returns to Her Maintenance Base In Caen, France - Soon to Set Out Again
Promotion of the SolOceans in Northern Europe and in the United States

Bostik, the first unit of the Veolia Oceans one-design series of the SolOceans came back to her Maintenance Base in Caen (France) last Friday evening, from Antwerp (Belgium) where the cargo ship unloaded her on her return from New Zealand. During the next couple of weeks, SailingOne’s team will proceed to the usual check up of the boat plus they will install a fix boom. Then, from 17 June, Charles Caudrelier at the helm of Bostik will set sail for a major Promotional Campaign of the SolOceans in Northern Europe and in the United States.

On this occasion, future owners of a Veolia Oceans one-design, competitors of the SolOceans 2009-2010 and media representatives will embark in turn to discover the Veolia Oceans one-design.

Here is the detailed program of Bostik for the next two months:

  • Tuesday 17 June: Departure from Caen (France) for Scheveningen, The Netherlands
  • Friday 20 June: PR events at Scheveningen, The Netherlands
  • Friday 20 June: In the evening: Departure for Eckernförde, Germany
  • Tuesday 24 June: PR events at Eckernförde, Germany
  • Tuesday 24 June: In the evening: Departure for Helsingborg, Sweden
  • Friday 27 June: PR events at Helsingborg, Sweden
  • Saturday 28 June: Departure for Helsingborg, Sweden for Cherbourg (France)
  • Sunday 6 July - 03.30pm: Departure of the way in of the Reconnaissance Transatlantic from Cherbourg towards New York City (United States). Four crew members Transatlantic
  • Friday 25 July - Saturday 26 July: PR events at New York City (United States)
  • Between the 28th and the 31st July: Departure of the way back of the Reconnaissance Transatlantic from New York City towards Cherbourg (France). Double-handed Transatlantic
  • Around 15 August: Arrival of the way back Reconnaissance Transatlantic in Cherbourg, from New York City (United States)
