SuperYacht Radio Interviews Jeff Houlgrave, Sales & Marketing Director of Camper & Nicholson Marinas & Tony di Maio, of Team Malta, about Grand Harbour Marina, Malta - the Mediterranean's newest marina.

"Malta is strategically located and is ideally suited as a home port for the yacht whose owner wishes to cruise widely," explains Houlgrave. In fact for a typical large yacht, he points out, Grand Harbour Marina is only about 2-days sailing time from the principle yachting centres of the South of France, the Balearics, Croatia, the Greek Islands, and Turkey.

CN Marinas is helping Grand Harbour Marina to sell long-term berths, Houlgrave says. Grand Harbour Marina is going to be one of the largest, Big Boat marinas in the World, with 35 berths in the size range 20 - 25m , about 14 berths of 26 - 35m, and about 20 berths of 50 - 85m (164 - 279 feet).

Grand Harbour Marina is spectacular. The harbor is lined with palaces in the surrounding hills, says di Maio, so anyone coming one year will be only too happy to come again, and again, and again.
