DENVER, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Air Canada today announced the introduction of non-stop flights between Denver and Montreal. Beginning June 16, 2006, Air Canada will operate year-round daily non-stop service creating an important and strategic link between two Star Alliance carriers' hubs and their extensive networks. Flights are conveniently timed to offer travellers a wide range of connecting flights in Montreal to and from: Ottawa, Quebec City, Rouyn-Noranda, Sept-Iles, Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John NB, Deer Lake, St. John's NF, Sydney NS, Halifax and Charlottetown, and on United Airlines operated flights in Denver to and from: Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, and San Diego. Air Canada becomes the only airline to offer this direct service cutting existing air travel time by approximately two hours. Air Canada's new Denver-Montreal non-stop service will be operated using its spacious 93-seat Embraer E190 jet with a choice of Executive Class and Hospitality service, and Air Canada's new personal entertainment system that is being introduced fleet-wide, and features 8.9-inch wide digital in-seat monitors with touch-screen controls offering audio and video on demand programming at every seat.
