(ECD) (Nasdaq: ENER), today announced that its UNI-SOLAR® laminates have been uniquely integrated into a building in Piazza San Lorenzo, Italy, designed by the prestigious architectural firm of Mario Botta. The building, which accommodates retail, offices and apartments, is distinguished by its curved, retractable rooftop on which a photovoltaic (PV) system comprised of UNI-SOLAR flexible light weight laminates have been installed.

The PV system is integrated into an EnerCover building integrated solution provided by Ondulit Italiana SpA. The PV system will help meet the energy needs of the structure by producing about 11kWh per year and avoiding the emission of 7.7 tons of CO2 per year.
