Application Objects for both Excel and Word

SoftArtisans has released version 3 of OfficeWriter featuring pure Application Objects for both Excel and Word. OfficeWriter is a complete server side Java library for reading and writing Microsoft Office documents.

With OfficeWriter, developers can create applications that deliver presentation-quality reports in just minutes without the need for Microsoft Office on the server. Excel or Word reports can be populated with data from a variety of sources, including JDBC ResultSets from popular databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, etc) or any data that can be contained in a Java object.

OfficeWriter libraries are simple to add to a variety of J2EE-compliant application servers, including Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere and BEA WebLogic, so integration is always seamless.
